Kinda NOT Like A Big Deal - Jerry Stackhouse Gets Dunked On.

When Lebron James got dunked on, aside from the fact the Nike reps handled it poorly, it was a big deal. But seriously, Jerry Stackhouse a 15 year NBA vet, who's at the end of his career and doesn't even have an NBA contract gets dunked on and it's news? He's a 35 year old man, who's knees have left him, trying to stop John Wall a young buck going to the hole. If this is Sports Centre worthy then allow me to send in my 1-on-1 video of my 12 year old nephew beating me at 21.

Carmelo Anthony's favourite sneaker of all time.

Yes really.

When someone asks you what is your favourite anything of all time, you contemplate, ponder and take time to be sure. However, when it's something you're passionate and confident about the answer comes relatively quickly.

So when ABDB asked Carmelo, what were his favourite sneakers of all time, that weren't Melos, (pro athletes tend to forget their favourites in favour of their own), he thought for a moment... Then looked down at his feet, gave them a wiggle and said "These ones I have on now, the Jordan Olympia."

Not to hate on the Jordan Olympia, they're inspired by the Jordan X, pay tribute to past Jordan athletes who have competed in the Olympics, and are a pretty good looking shoe. I'm sure they're quite comfortable Melo, maybe even the most comfortable and best performance sneakers you have ever worn, but come on really?

This shoe trumps every other shoe on the planet?

Even those that you have a sentimental attachment to?

Not one edition of the Air Jordans 1-23 are as good as the Olympia?

Now who's to say that they're not his all time favourite, but most people would say, the Air Jordan III, or the Air Force 1, or the Dunk. The Olympia just seems like a quasi-political answer, and when it comes to favourites, people just want to know what you like... the individual preference from the person, not the pitch man.

I heart Candace Parker.

I mean, what's not to love?

Candace Parker has already changed women's basketball. She's a proven winner in college, already shown she can compete against the other gender, by winning a slam dunk competition. Without even trying, makes you think she's a better player than the men in her life, fiance Shelden Williams, and brother Anthony Parker. Lastly, she's very easy on the eyes, which may be the easiset way for the closed minded basketball world to pay attention.

Now, she's on the big stage in the WNBA, playing in LA no less, with her team on top of the confrence and the second best record in the league. There's nothing she can't do, becoming only the second woman in the WNBA to dunk in a game.

Honestly, she's nice with it. What more can you say?
